The timeline of events in seaQuest DSV and 2032 is presented below.

The epoch of this timeline is February 12, 2017, the date of the Livingston Trench Incident (DSV: "To Be or Not to Be").

1910s CE

1913 CE

• April 1: Lillian Strathearn departs London with the Lord Deegan and his wife (DSV: "Knight of Shadows")
• May 8: The passenger liner R.M.S. King George sets sail from Lisbon with Lord Deegan's family and Strathearn (DSV: "Knight of Shadows").
• May 8―13: George sabotaged by her commanding officer, Phineas Wideman, in order to discredit its engineer Robert Fitzgerald in the eyes of his beloved, Strathearn (DSV: "Knight of Shadows").
• May 13: George slowly sinks due to sabotage; all but Strathearn, Fitzgerald, Widerman, and three stowaways evacuate George. Fitzgerald dies from pneumonia, contracted while attempting repairs to George's engine (DSV: "Knight of Shadows").
• May 15: George's survivors, sans aforementioned, picked up (DSV: "Knight of Shadows").

1914 CE

• August 26: Lillian Strathearn dies aboard the submerged George, having taken her own life (DSV: "Knight of Shadows").
  • Sometime thereafter, Captain Phineas Wideman commits suicide, confessing to the sabotage of R.M.S. King George and his motivations in his log journal (DSV: "Knight of Shadows").

1950s CE

1954―1955 CE

• William Noyce born.
  • Noyce was in 9th grade when Woodstock occurred, thus approximating his age to be between 14 to 15 (DSV: "The Last Lap of Luxury").
• Andrae Dre born.
  • Dre picked up Noyce, who was hitchhiking to Woodstock; given their generational similarities, and the fact that she drove, she would have had to been at least 15 to 16 years of age (DSV: "The Last Lap of Luxury").

1960s CE

1961 CE

• Nathan Bridger born.
  • Bridger notes that he was eight years old when Woodstock took place (DSV: "The Last Lap of Luxury").

1969 CE

• August 15-18:
  • Woodstock, a pivot point for United States counterculture, occurs. Future UEO members William Noyce and Andrea Dre meet here (DSV: "The Last Lap of Luxury").

1970s CE

1971 CE

• August 8:
  • Marilyn Stark born (DSV: "To Be or Not to Be").

1980s CE

1983 CE

• Nathan Bridger and William Noyce become friends (DSV: "To Be or Not to Be").

1988 CE

• William Noyce's Naval career begins (DSV: "To Be or Not to Be").

2000s CE

2001―2003 CE

• The "dark age" of genetics, which lead to the creation of the GELFs (DSV: "Daggers").
• Approximate conception date for Alpha Model-K nicknamed "Dagwood."

2002 CE

• December 23:
  • Lucas Wolenczak born (2032: "Brave New World").

2010s CE

2011 CE

• United Nations dissolved, various economic confederations rise to take advantage of undersea resources, akin to a "gold rush" (DSV: "To Be or Not to Be").
• Nor-Pac, a military confederation with heavy United States of America involvement, created out of wake of NATO (DSV: "To Be or Not to Be").

2011―2012 CE

• seaQuest DSV 4600 undergoes development and initial construction under Captain Nathan Bridger (DSV: "To Be or Not to Be").

2012 CE

• Bridger develops war games program called NSC-2012 (DSV: "The Sincerest Form of Flattery").
• Bridger undergoes neurological scan for potential use in creating an artificial intelligence for military advisement (DSV: "The Sincerest Form of Flattery").
• Robert Bridger reported as killed in action somewhere in the North Atlantic, resulting in Nathan Bridger's resignation from the military (DSV: "To Be or Not to Be").

2012―2015 CE

• Nathan Bridger is reported as "going native," having relocated to his own island either during or following the death of his wife, Carol (DSV: "To Be or Not to Be").
• Nathan Bridger rescues Darwin from a fisherman's net, and engages in his experiments of communication between dolphins and man on his islands, settling on a form of sign language (DSV: "To Be or Not to Be")

2015 CE

• Jonathan Ford assigned to seaQuest as part of an activation crew; seaQuest DSV 4600 formally launched (DSV: "To Be or Not to Be").

2016 CE

• Various confederations establish undersea mining claims in the Livingston Trench (DSV: "To Be or Not to Be").

2017 CE

• February 12
  • Livingston Trench Incident (DSV: "To Be or Not to Be").
    • Captain Marilyn Stark relieved of command (DSV: "To Be or Not to Be").
• September
  • Nor-Pac provides seaQuest DSV 4600 and personnel to United Earth/Oceans Organization (UEO). It begins a refit under, overseen by Commander Jonathan Ford (DSV: "To Be or Not to Be").

2018 CE

• March
  • Marilyn Stark given command of Delta 4 by industrialist George Le Chein to neutralize seaQuest (DSV: "To Be or Not to Be").
  • Admiral William Noyce brings Nathan Bridger out of retirement in an unconventional way, with the hope that he would assume seaQuest's captaincy (DSV: "To Be or Not to Be").

2019 CE

• March:
  • seaQuest 2018-2019 tour ends (DSV: "Higher Power").
  • World Power goes online, with devastating results (DSV: "Higher Power").
  • seaQuest DSV 4600 destroyed to close undersea fissure (DSV: "Higher Power").

2020s CE

2022 CE

• Disappearance of seaQuest in the Tonga Trench (DSV: "Splashdown").
• Miguel Ortiz and Wendy Smith killed in action on Hyperion (2032: "Brave New World").

2026 CE

• UEO lifts ban on Colonization deregulation, resulting in 100,000 square miles of underdeveloped basins being made available. Numerous underesa colonies and installations arose (2032: "Brave New World").

2030s CE

2032 CE

• September 18:
  • seaQuest DSV 4600-II returned to Earth along with surviving crew members (2032: "Brave New World").
