The Livingston Trench is a mineral-rich region of the North Atlantic Ocean, with an approximate depth of 1,700 feet. As such, it is also the site of mining outposts, such as those of the Ocean Floor Mining Corporation, with many economic confederations staking claims in the mid-2010s CE. Among the minerals mined in the trench are magnesium, manganese, copper, nickel, cobalt, vanadium, aluminum, and iron.
Livingston Trench becomes the powder keg later known as the Livingston Trench Incident of 2017 CE (DSV: "To Be or Not to Be").
