Bobby is a worker at the Ocean Floor Mining Corporation refinery and plant at Livingston Trench circa 2017 CE.

He is caught in Reef Runner prospecting over another confederation's claim, having lost the magnesium samples he discovered, and pursued by two hornets to the refinery. Jenny admonishes him for his actions, which escalates a conflict in the region culminating into the Livingston Trench Incident (DSV: "To Be or Not to Be").
