Optional parameters[edit source]

  • image: The filename of the images.
  • title: What is the ship's name.
  • italic: If this is a ship's name, then put in "y" (sans quotes).
  • faction: Insert the faction of the ship (UEO, Macronesian Alliance).
  • type: Civilian or military.
  • ftl: Is the ship FTL-capable.
  • propol: What is its normal propulsion.
  • crew: Estimated crew capacity.

Separate Continuity[edit source]

  • sepcon: Insert Y to indicate that a separate continuity article is available on the subject.
  • sepcon title: The name of the article on the subject in the separate continuity. Do not encase in any link syntax.
  • series: Insert the series acronym that the separate continuity is a part of. Values are TOS, 1980, and RDM.
Note: This is only for articles where the name crosses more than one continuity. For instance, "Galactica" is a ship in multiple series, e.g. the Original Series through the Re-imagined Series. So an article on Galactica in the separate continuity material for the Original Series would use the "TOS" acronym, and thus would facilitate a link to Galactica (TOS alternate).

Primary Continuity[edit source]

This is meant for articles on separate continuity ships, i.e. Template:Alt.
  • primecon: Insert Y to indicate that a primary continuity article is available on the subject.
  • primecon title: The name of the article on the subject in the primary continuity. Do not encase in any link syntax.
  • series: Insert the series acronym that the primary continuity is a part of. Values are TOS, 1980, and RDM.
Note: This is only for articles where the name crosses more than one continuity. For instance, "Galactica" is a ship in both the Original Series and the Re-imagined Series. So an article on Galactica in the primary continuity material for the Original Series would use the "TOS" acronym, and thus would facilitate a link to Galactica (TOS).
