New page

A hyper reality probe is a mobile undersea instrument capable of precise control, allowing a human to control its operation and appendages. Its silhouette is that of a four-legged domestic creature, akin to a canine or feline. It is often used when W.S.K.R.S. are insufficient.

At its spheroid head are various lenses , optimized for undersea visual acuity at the expense of above surface visualization Treasure of the Mind. The probe's digits are capable of tactile movement of obstacles and handling of loose objects for retrieval To Be or Not to Be.

A hyper reality probe was integrated into seaQuest DSV 4600<nowiki/>'s scientific package. The engineering station of seaQuest<nowiki/>'s bridge, where the operator dons a specific set of head and eye wear, in addition to a pair of control gloves with a spheroid ball under each palm To Be or Not to Be.

The probe has lights to aid in sight; in one case, the light from the probe is used to attract a level 10 biologic and lead it away from seaQuest Treasures of the Tonga Trench.
Notes
* The hyper reality probe technology is seen only in season one. It is not seen in use aboard seaQuest DSV 4600-II in the subsequent two seasons.
